About Des O'Neill
I am an accountant by profession and a change maker by nature.
I’m the founder of OmniPro, the biggest provider of CPD to accountants in Ireland, as well as helping hundreds of accountants improve profitability and efficiency with ProfitPro.
I have had a long and varied career as an accountant originally training in the Big4 and then working in a range of mid-sized to small firms before setting up my own business with my brother Micheal., Our first business OmniPro provided training and consulting services to accountants. We are specialists in all aspects of technical training and support for accountancy firms developing tools, techniques, products and services that make accountancy more compliant, profitable and rewarding.

I am truly passionate about bringing innovation to the accountancy profession and enabling accountants to achieve what they want from their careers and business. My core belief is that when empowered to achieve their best, accountants can deliver transformative results for clients.
My dream has always been to help accountants build profitable and rewarding accountancy practices. My dream has always been for me to realise my true potential while helping others do the same. I believe accountants are uniquely positioned to impact on the world through their work with small to medium sized businesses and their owners.I believe I am uniquely positioned to help accountants do this. ProfitPro is my dream.
I have a growth orientated “let’s get it done” mindset. I have an insatiable hunger for knowledge and personal development. I believe that the application of knowledge through self-discipline is key on our journey to success and our journey to personal fulfilment. I am resilient and have I truly believe that it is not about where you are but the direction in which you are facing that matters most in any given moment. I am the husband to a wonderful woman called Caroline and we have 3 young kids, 2 dogs and 3 cats. I don’t just live my life for my family. I live my live to the best of my ability for me so that I can give them the leadership to do the same. Obviously they are one of the most important things in my life. (I was lucky to get the kids to sit still for the photo so the cats and dogs didn’t make the cut)
